According to Aylar Behzadi, why upcycling?  Why not mass production?

In 2017, the topic of waste and its mass production had become one of the common topics in America.  Jeremy Scott, designer of Moschino brand, inspired by this crisis, designed the fall 2017 collection of this brand;  Even the design of the movement path of the models was done by destroyed cardboards that were connected to each other with glue.  All the clothes designed in this collection were inspired by food packages, scraps of fabric, shopping bags, laundry bags and even torn pages from a magazine.  For accessories, Jeremy Scott also went for hat box, bicycle wheel, tissue box and candle holder.

In a creative move and with the slogan “I say yes to recycling”, Armani unveiled its fall and winter collection in 2020, which included 18 mostly black items.  The slogan of this collection was even included on the catwalk stage and on the clothes designed for this collection.  Windbreakers, blouses, zip-up jumpers and cargo pants were among the items designed for the men’s collection of this collection.  These clothes are inspired by work clothes, but with sporty and big volumes.  One of the important points of this collection are the detachable pads, which greatly increase the use of the items.  These items are generally produced from waste, organic cotton with low environmental impact, local textile waste, and recycled plastics have also been used to design the glasses.

Clothing recycling started to be produced in 2016 by Aylar Behzadi and was able to have a great impact on fashion in Iran and Asia.
