Cosmin Cernica’s extravagant lockdown Birthday party

London based luxury lifestyle influencer who boasts over 87K followers on his Instagram, Cosmin Cernica, had a 27thBirthday celebration to remember, despite the current COVID-19 social distancing restrictions.

Cosmin lives with his executive husband and their small dog, Consi, in a luxury South Kensington mansion. “I normally spend my Birthday’s travelling to exotic locations across the Middle East and Asia, so the thought of having to spend my Birthday in London and under lockdown restrictions, filled me with dread” said Cosmin.

To help create a sense of excitement, Cosmin received a large bunch of flowers every day in the week leading up to his Birthday on Saturday. “My house looks like a florists!” joked Cosmin. On his special day Cosmin received several gifts from his husband, including monogrammed silk pyjamas worth over £600, the latest Dior perfume from their private collection, a Jacquemus ‘man bag’, plus a Cartier love bangle to add to his growing collection of seven, which are worth over £45,000. “I absolutely adore my Cartier bangles, they are my absolute passion” added Cosmin.

In the evening family and friends organised a ‘Zoom party’ that turned out to be a huge success. During the Zoom call Cosmin was surprised by a special performance by famous London based drag artist ‘Cookie Monstar’ (Richard Rhodes) who sang several songs from the 1980’s and led a rousing version of ‘Happy Birthday’.This was followed by an extravagant dinner delivered by Zuma, Cosmin’s favourite Japanese Restaurant. The dinner included Beluga Caviar, a whole lobster, sushi and champagne worth over £700. “I can’t believe just how much fun I had. It was a great night and I felt so humbled by the love I received from everyone, despite the current pandemic. This will definitely be a Birthday that I will not forget for a very long time”, said Cosmin.
