Epic Games gets “F” in client service from the Better Business Bureau

The Better Business Bureau declared that Epic Games has been given the most minimal conceivable grade, an F, because of 247 “unanswered client objections”.

It’s important to take note of that the Better Business Bureau is essentially a network of non-benefit groups which work to improve businesses, not a governmental body.

The full report from the BBB is as per the following…

The gaming organization behind such famous titles as Fortnite and Infinity Blade has an “F” rating with Better Business Bureau because of unanswered client complaints. BBB serving Eastern North Carolina (BBB) is cautioning shoppers about Epic Games of Cary, NC, which has 279 BBB complaints on file in the past three years with 271 of those objections recorded in the most recent year alone. Of the 279 total complaints, 247 of those have gone unanswered.

Epic Games is the maker of a number of well-known games that have a global following; notwithstanding Fortnite and Infinity Blade, they make Unreal, Gears of War, and Shadow Complex. The organization has developed essentially in the previous a year, and their most popular game, Fortnite, right now boasts in excess of 6 million followers on Twitter. A dominant part of complaints submitted to BBB against Epic Games manage client service and discount or trade issues. One complainant stated, “Epic Games failed to protect customer security, resulting in several unsanctioned charges over mine and my partner’s account.” Another complainant added that, “There is no phone number or proper email response time to return my unauthorized charge of $160. Nobody will answer, and I feel cheated.”

BBB has endeavored to contact Epic Games on various events, yet the organization has neglected to react.

Epic Games reacted to this report, telling to Kotaku that infact addressed the cited complaints…

Epic Games isn’t affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and has redirected all player submitted complaints from the BBB to our Player Support staff…
