Global investment firm Boundary Holding invests in Technofounders startup- Cerbair

After meeting in Technofounders’ Paris office, Rajat Khare, the founder of Boundary Holding, and Lucas Le Bell, the CEO, completed investment agreements.

Boundary Holding, a bridge investment company that invests in global AI technology-driven startups, has invested in Cerbair, a Technofounders startup based in France. After receiving initial capital from VCs in the past of 500,000 and 1.5 million euros, the (undisclosed) bridge funding will be utilised as a stepping stone to the next round of funding, while also assisting Cerbair in expanding its operations and strengthening its business reach.

Cerbair provides Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solutions for critical infrastructure based on French radio frequency and optical technologies. Cerbair made the investment at a time when it was collaborating and exchanging knowledge with AirMap to integrate UTM and Counter-UAS technologies for a complete solution that allows air traffic tracking for all UAVs in the air.

After meeting in Technofounders’ Paris office, Rajat Khare, the founder of Boundary Holding, and Lucas Le Bell, the CEO, completed investment agreements. “There’s synchronicity of skilled people, process, and technology in the Cerbair office,” Rajat Khare said of the dynamic work atmosphere at Cerbair and Technofounders. “We promote such a fluid environment in the firms we invest in.”

Cerbair has been able to examine outside investment alternatives for funding using suggestions from Technofounders’ network of contacts. In the last year, the Luxembourg-based fund Boundary Holding, which invests in AI and related next-generation technologies, has invested in companies such as Konux, a German railway analytics startup, XRVision, a Singaporean facial recognition startup, and Asteria Aersopace, an AI-based drone solution provider.

Apart from Cerbair, Technofounders has supported a number of tech businesses, including Digiez and Spinofrin. Technofounders has accelerated the financing of the six other firms under its umbrella through its investment vehicle TF Participation, before they could seek traditional venture money.
