Google May Use AI to Replace Some Human Workers

According to reports, Google is thinking about using artificial intelligence to replace some of its human employees.

The Information reported that the company is considering reassigning or firing certain members of the sales team whose jobs were recently automated by the company’s new artificial intelligence tools.

In an effort to improve advertiser experiences, Google introduced “a new era of AI-powered ads” earlier this year. One of the initiatives was the creation of AI-designed assets for advertiser-specific ad campaigns by customers.

According to reports, Google employs 30,000 people in its ad division, nearly half of whom are in charge of selling advertisements for specific Google ad services that are no longer required as a result of advertisers using artificial intelligence. AI employee replacement may eventually improve Google’s financial results.

Artificial intelligence has the potential to replace workers in occupations other than advertising. A number of jobs that have historically been filled by human workers may eventually be replaced by AI as it develops.
