“NCIS: Los Angeles” renewed for Season 13 at CBS

“NCIS: Los Angeles” has been renewed for Season 13 at CBS, with the broadcaster additionally ordering “NCIS: Hawaii” to series.

“NCIS: Hawaii” was first reported as being developed back in February. Matt Bosack, Jan Nash, and Chris Silber are co-writing and executive producing, with Larry Teng appended to direct and executive produce.

In the show, the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and her team balance duty to family and country, investigating high-stakes crimes including military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the island itself.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” stars Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith, Medalion Rahimi, and Caleb Castille. R. Scott Gemmill, John P. Kousakis, Frank Military and Kyle Harimoto leader produce.

All shows under the “NCIS” umbrella are delivered by CBS Studios. It was recently reported that mothership show “NCIS” was getting renewed, with series lead Mark Harmon set to return. “NCIS: New Orleans” is finishing after this season. The series finale on May 16 imprint 155 scenes of the show that have circulated.

The “NCIS” franchise is one of the foundations of CBS, The mothership show stays quite possibly the most-watched shows on TV, even in its 18th season. The current season of the show is averaging 9.6 million watchers for every scene in Live+Same Day alone.

CBS previously renewed the shows “Bull,” “SWAT,” “Magnum PI,” “Blue Bloods,” “Bob Hearts Abishola,” “The Equalizer,” “FBI,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” “The Neighborhood” and “Survivor.” “Tough as Nails” nabbed a two-seasons renewal, and “Young Sheldon” scored three more seasons.
