Coming off of his recent album Sunset in LA 2; Singer-songwriter NTG formally known as NeemTheGreat is ready to speak on his collaboration with Mo City’s own; Deus Lee
How was working with each other?
NTG – ” Deus energy in the studio is always legit. We actually tapped in 2 years ago on my first album and definitely made a vibe. Ever since then we were musically locked in.
Deus – ” Yea that’s my bro so the energy is always magical when we create music and work. We also have a collab that we haven’t dropped yet called “Range Rover“. That song is a movie; can’t wait for the fans to hear that one.
How did the song “Magic” come about?
NTG – “I was in the process of creating Sunset in LA 2 when I made the record and I couldn’t come up with a verse for the record. The hook was on point but every time I tried to do a verse it wouldn’t stick with me. I didn’t want to mess up a perfectly motivational record; so I hit up Deus for the feature.
Deus ” Bro sent the song to me and I gravitated to the record instantly.
Where did you two shoot the music video?
Deus – “After we cut the song, Neem drove down to Mo City and shot the video the same day and drove back to Dallas the same night! Bro’s work ethic is unreal. He’s really true to the craft.
I see the song is doing really well in numbers, How do you guys feel about all the streams and views you guys are receiving?
NTG – “Feels good to deliver a positive message and receive great feedback” This song wasn’t about sex drugs and money. It was just an uplifting song that I feel like all the real ones could relate to.
Deus – ” I think it’s dope that we got to share different fan bases and really deliver the music video so fast. We’re just watching the number climb on Youtube every day.
What can we expect from you two going forward?
Deus – “You can expect more singles w/ visuals and possibly a trip to Italy where ill be recording more music as well.
NTG – “the SLA tour is something that I’ve been working on. Hopefully, we’ll get some dates soon so that we can start moving city to city”
