Romano Auto Dealerships has made Automotive News magazine’s list of the top 150 automobile dealership groups in the nation in light of new-vehicle deals in 2021.
Romano, which is settled in Fayetteville and has six areas in the Syracuse region, is positioned 138th on the list, two spots up from the 2020 list. It sold 6,750 new vehicles last year.
The auto bunch likewise made the list last year, positioning 140th.
The annual listing depends on deals announced by dealerships answering the magazine’s overview.
Romano is the main Syracuse-based group with respect to the current year’s list. Its dealerships sell Chrysler Jeep, Ford, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen vehicles. The gathering is claimed by siblings Michael J. Romano and Joseph J. Romano.
West Herr Automotive Group, which is situated in Orchard Park close to Buffalo, is positioned seventeenth on the list, detailing 31,933 new-vehicle deals a year ago. West Herr purchased East Syracuse Chevrolet in December.
AutoNation Inc., of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was positioned No. 1, with 262,403 new-vehicle deals last year across its 256 dealerships.
