TikTok and Instagram Star Ryder Mccrann and Her “Cowboy Fridays” Project

“Cowboy Fridays” is a college party and lifestyle themed Instagram account that’s a part of a broader project, originally created by Ryder Mccrann, who is most notable for her TikTok account where she posts dance videos and has gained over 250,000 followers on the social sharing app. Every week on the @CowboyFridays account, there’s a new post with a college party scene and or outfit modeled by a college student who attends a college somewhere within the USA. The “college lifestyle” has been a popular trend across social media, with students sharing their specific everyday activities that most, if not all students, can relate to in some way. The original idea for the account was brainstormed by Ryder as another way to expand her social influence.

Ryder also credits NORD, an Oregon rapper and musician who has gained a following for publishing Hip-Hop music on music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music for being a major part of the Cowboy Fridays project. With major success in growing an empire of his own across social platforms, gaining over half a million Instagram followers in under a year’s time, NORD (real name Carter) also manages the college lifestyle account alongside Ryder Mccrann. The two have previously collaborated outside of this project as evident on both Ryder and NORD’s social media posts, with Ryder occasionally posting story selfies of herself with the Oregon musician’s music playing – as well as NORD posting photos of Ryder alongside him in his home music production studio.
