Turning Your Passion Into Profit: Jesse Paul Smith of WorldWide Dance Challenge

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

I had big dreams. I wanted a lot out of my life, and I realized that the life I wanted to live wouldn’t be possible if I was someone else’s employee. I’ve always done things a little differently, so the idea of going out on my own and forging my own path wasn’t too surprising. It felt like the right step for me.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

On the business side, I’ve been proud to speak and perform in front of over 100,000 on 4 different continents. I was asked by John C. Maxwell to do one of his “Minute with Maxwell” segments after performing on stage for his IMC conference, and was asked to share the stage with Paul Martinelli (Founder of the John Maxwell Team) in both the US and Romania. The opportunities my work has opened for me over the years have been incredible.

What’s your definition of success?

Doing what you love with people you love to do it with. Getting to live your passions is really what success means to me.
