When asked about Vikram Gokhale and Tabassum, Amitabh Bachchan said, “They came to our lives, played their parts, and left”

Following the passing of both renowned actor Vikram Gokhale and well-known TV personality Tabassum this month, Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to them both in his blog.

Amitabh Bachchan has posted a brief obituary on his blog in honour of actor and renowned television anchor Tabassum as well as veteran actor and friend Vikram Gokhale. He claimed that because everyone “performed their parts and left the stage empty,” the “days are strewn with sadness.” Tabassum passed away on November 19 from a heart arrest. On November 26 in Pune, Vikram Gokhale passed away from multiple organ failure.

Amitabh remembered the two of them and a few other close friends in his blog on Sunday “The days are filled with sadness as friends, coworkers, and artists of great worth go from us on a daily basis. We listen, we watch, we pray for Tabassum, Vikram Gokhale, and other beloved, well-known people. They entered our lives, performed their roles, and then vanished, leaving the stage bare and abandoned by their absence.”

In a previous blog post about her, he had said, “They all leave us one by one, and it is beyond comprehension. You only remember the times of their presence and life before the eyes and the mind, and they always remain an image of the time… unchanged, unrestricted, and in the freedom of free… and then they leave, and it cannot be fathomed.”
